How can parents enroll their child in Epic SchoolKids?

How often can my child use their Epic SchoolKids Utah Pack?

The Epic SchoolKids Utah Pack provides 5 days of skiing or snowboarding at Park City. Packs are subject to peak restricted dates. Learn more via the Epic SchoolKids Utah Pack site.

 

Which resorts are participating in the Utah Epic SchoolKids program?

Park City Mountain, the largest resort in the US.

 

How do I receive my child's pack?

Once you have registered your child/children online, you will receive an email confirmation that your pass has been processed. Due to the volume of Epic SchoolKids registrations, processing time may vary. 

New to Epic SchoolKids: Once your confirmation email has been received, you will then be able to go to the Park City season pass offices any time before or on your child’s first day at the mountain to take a photo for your child’s pass and have it printed. 

Returning to Epic SchoolKids: Once your confirmation email has been received, if your child has had an Epic SchoolKids Park City Pack in previous seasons, this year's pack will be loaded onto their previous season pass card.

How do I book the free "first-timer" lesson & rental?

Epic School Kids offers one free first-timer lesson and rental package for any participating child who has never skied or snowboarded.

The lesson must be booked in advance. Please call at least 2 weeks in advance of your preferred date to ensure availability!

The free first-timer lesson and rental package must be redeemed as a package and is limited to one total per child. Lesson is subject to availability and is only offered at select times throughout the season.

First-Timer Lessons & Rental Availability:

  • Monday, December 2, 2024 – Saturday, December 14, 2024
  • Monday, January 6, 2025 – Friday, January 17, 2025
  • Tuesday, January 21, 2025 – Friday, January 31, 2025

Are there any restricted dates?

Epic SchoolKids Pack Restricted Dates:

  • Friday, November 29, 2024 – Saturday, November 30, 2024 (USA only)
  • Thursday, December 26, 2024 - Tuesday, December 31, 2024
  • Saturday, January 18, 2025
  • Saturday, February 15 2025 - Sunday, February 16, 2025 

 

Is there a deadline to sign-up for Epic SchoolKids?

Yes. Epic SchoolKids is only available for a limited time each season. Registration generally starts in the spring and is open through early Fall for the upcoming season. Visit the Epic SchoolKids website for more details.

 

Is the purchase of an adult pass required?

No. The Epic SchoolKids Pack is a FREE program for Colorado, Utah, Canadian and Washington State children who are enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th Grade during the 2024/25 winter season. No purchase is required.

Can my child use any of the days of skiing or riding at other Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts?

No. The Epic SchoolKids Pack provides access to the specific region registered only. Please see your region’s access specifics here.

 

What grade must my child be in to qualify for Epic SchoolKids?

  • Your child must be enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade during the 24/25 winter season to qualify for the 24/25 Epic Schoolkids program.
  • Children who were enrolled in 5th grade during the 23/24 school year do not qualify.
  • Pre-K children are not eligible for Epic SchoolKids.
